Mary has been in the banking industry for over 32 years spending most of those years first in consumer lending and now all types of lending. She and her husband have two grown children and 6 grandchildren; she says there are no better times than those spent with her family and friends. Mary loves to spend time boating in the summer and traveling to somewhere warm in the winter. Her goal is to teach all six grandchildren to water-ski.
Mary started her banking career in Milford NE while her husband, Mike, was in school and upon his graduation they moved back to the area. At that time Mary worked for an affiliated bank in Norfolk NE. Three years later they purchased a business in Coleridge where they set down their roots and raised their two children. Mary started working for the bank in Coleridge in 1984 as a receptionist and moved through the ranks to where she is today as Branch President and in charge of lending at the Coleridge Branch.
Mary is active in her church and community. She keeps the Community booklet up to date as well as the packets that go to the new people that move into town and keeps the community website updated. She loves being a mentor for the Teammates program and serves on the Board of Directors. She is on several committees at Immanuel Lutheran Church and is on a new committee for the Village working with economic development.
Mary has been in banking long enough to have seen the good times and the bad times and strives to help her customers reach their goals.
